"FRENGLISH"

This is the first of many blogs to come over the next 3 months as it is part of my McGill assignment for my Information Systems class.  I have to admit that an assignment that entails creating a Twitter account (follow me @PowellCat) and writing a blog every so often is by far the best assignment that I have had since starting McGill in the Fall of 2011.

So, what's to come in the following three months?  Well, I hope to entertain anyone who takes the time to visit my blog with interesting videos, facts, or simply with details about my day :) I am infatuated with travel, so there is a good chance that you will find ideas about my "ideal vacation spot" or cool sights to see around the Globe.  Also, you should take note of the title of this first post.  Why is it called "Frenglish"? Well, I am bilingual in French and English, and often find myself switching languages mid sentence.  I have a strong feeling that this idiosyncratic behaviour will persist in my blogs as well; so for those of you who do not speak french, I hope that you will learn a little here.

Before, I finish off I would like to leave you with an interesting word of the day: "flibbertigibbet".  It sounds like gibberish, but I assure you that it is a real word.  I challenge you to use it sometime during a conversation this week!

Cheers <3
